Air Cargo 2013, the air cargo transportation and delivery industry’s premier conference and exhibition event, reached a significant milestone today by partnering with ACI-NA (Airports Council International - North America) for its upcoming annual conference and trade show March 10-12, 2013 in Las Vegas.
ACI-NA is the largest of the five worldwide regions of Airports Council International. It represents local, state and regional bodies that operate commercial airports in the United States and Canada. More than 350 aviation -related businesses are also members of ACI-NA, providing goods and services to airports. The organization’s members enplane more than 95% of the domestic and virtually all of the international airline passenger and cargo traffic in North America.
ACI-NA joins Air Cargo 2013 on the 10th anniversary of the annual transportation event, originally founded by the AEMCA (Air & Expedited Motor Carriers Association), AfA (Airforwarders Association) and the XLA (Express Delivery & Logistics Association).
Greg Principato, ACI-NA's President noted that, "ACI-NA is truly excited about partnering with AEMCA, AFA, and the XLA and contributing to the execution of such a well-established and respected industry event. We look forward to sharing the networking opportunities and value points of Air Cargo 2013 with our membership.”
The executive directors, Fiona Morgan (AEMCA), Brandon Fried (AFA) and Jim Conway (XLA) stated "Our Associations see the partnership with ACI-NA as creating new and dynamic synergies for AirCargo conference attendees since airports play such a critical role in their business success."
