Char Dalton
General Counsel, V.P. SEKO Logistics

Char Dalton is General Counsel and Vice President for SEKO Logistics, a leader in transportation and supply chain technology. Char has legal responsibilities for SEKO’s U.K., Hong Kong, Shanghai and U.S. operations. In her global legal role, Char manages all transactional work, an especially focal piece of her day to day in recent years as SEKO has grown by acquisition. In addition, Char manages all complex contracts, litigation, corporate governance, intellectual property, employment matters and other legal affairs for the organization.  Char also serves in a senior management capacity, overseeing the company’s
global Human Resources, Compliance, and Claims teams.

Char joined SEKO in 2014, after working as General Legal Counsel at NNR Global Logistics for over 5 years. Prior to that, Char gained international legal experience working for BGC Partners, a Cantor Fitzgerald group company, in London, United Kingdom. Char received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Michigan and graduated with her J.D. from Wayne State University. Char is passionate about the practice of law and considers herself a business person, involved in strategy and managing risk by utilizing her legal acumen. In addition to her work at SEKO, Char is an active volunteer, advocate for disabled, and sits on various committees
as well as on the board of the Chicago Chapter of the Association for Corporate Counsel.
