
Sasha Goodman is a twelve-year veteran of the Airforwarders Association Board of Directors
(who will term out of the position at the end of January 2023). During her tenure, she is
credited with creating the Platinum Membership program, is a contributing founder of the
Women’s Networking Event at the annual AirCargo Conference and a fierce champion of efforts
to increase opportunities for women in the logistics industry.
Originally from the U.K., Sasha began her career in Rock-it Cargo’s first U.S. office in Los Angeles
in the early 1980’s. Early in her career, Sasha went on tour with David Bowie as part of his 1983
Serious Moonlight Tour, one of the longest, largest, and most successful tours covering 15
countries.
Today, Sasha’s responsibilities include all compliance matters for the TSA and managing the
Indirect Air Carrier Standard Security Programs, as well as Human Resources, Marketing and
ESG across multiple brands of the Global Critical Logistics (GCL) group.
Among her peers worldwide, Sasha is recognized as a proponent who brings equality and
opportunity to the freight forwarding industry by pushing companies to look critically at their
workforces. In 2018, Sasha was recognized as Innovative Logistics Professional of the Year by
Women in International Trade (WIT). She is also a mentor for the global Women in Aviation &
Logistics program and a member of Chief, the invitation-only private membership network
focused on connecting and supporting women executive leaders.
Sasha and her husband Garry reside in the Los Angeles area and have two sons and two
grandchildren.
